Dinner and a show

I live with a very nice family. I've been treated to dinner - again - and dessert, which was quite nice. I even got a glass of wine.

Today was the first day of school, but we didn't have any classes. It was only one of those customary introduction-and-tour-of-campus deals, and tomorrow we won't even have to go to campus. Real classes start on Thursday, which I'm quite excited about.

Me and Matilda stopped by the campus bookstore, as well, and I bought four second hand books, two of which are obligatory for the course. The other two books (Paradise Lost by Milton and a pocket dictionary) were just too tempting to ignore. Later we went by the local supermarket (Tesco) and I ended up buying bananas, grapes, shampoo and conditioner, as well as four cans of soup. Guess what I'll be eating for dinner the next few days?

On another note I have nothing more to say.
