Essays and individual tutorials

It felt quite good when the teacher said that there seemed to be nothing I needed help with on the individual tutorial on the literary essay, and then said that he thought I had the right attitude and that he had high hopes about my essay.

Now I just have to make sure I actually write a bloody spectacular essay, and everything will be fine.

We also had literary class today, and Mr. Douche is seriously beginning to shape up. It was a wonderful class, where we discussed metaphysical poetry and listened to music.

The verdict.

So today I had my two first real classes here in Brighton, and in all honesty, I'm not that impressed.

First up was Literature, and it was a fun class. The teacher seem a bit douche-y, but he at least seemed to know what he was doing. We read and analyzed some Macbeth, and that was about it.

The second class, the Linguistic survey, was quite frankly a disappointment. The teacher didn't seem to know what she was talking about, didn't seem to know that all of us had to have gone at least one term at university before (since we are the B level, after all. You can't apply to the B-level unless you've done the A-level; it's simple logic) and to be honest she seemed to think she was teaching a pre-school class or something. So yeah. I'm a bit disappointed in the class, but thankfully the course material is interesting so I'll at least have something to read.

As for the rest of the people in my class, they seem a nice bunch.
